The launch of the revamped website of Kerala Maritime Board was done by Hon'ble Minister for Ports, Museum, Archeology and Archives Department Shri. Ahammad Devarkovil. The Minister said that the new website has been designed as a part of the modernization of the Kerala Maritime Board and the website will be useful for making information and services related to non-major ports in Kerala available to the public quickly and for people to contact the board.
The website was launched as the first phase of the complete digitalisation of the Kerala Maritime Board. The second phase of applications for manual dredging, registration of inland water vessels and shipping operations will be completed by the end of next month. In the function held at the head office of Kerala Maritime Board in Sasthamangalam, Principal Secretary of Fisheries and Port Department Shri. K.S. Srinivas IAS, Kerala Maritime Board Chairman Shri. N.S Pillai and Chief Executive Officer Shri. T.P Salim Kumar IRS spoke.
