Calicut Chamber of Commerce & Industry is one of the staunch supporters of Kerala Maritime Board like many other Chambers' of the state.

A discussion on the development of Beypore Port was conducted by Calicut Chamber of Commerce & Industry, which was inaugurated by Hon'ble Minister for Ports Museum Archeology and Archives Shri Ahammad Devarkovil at Chamber Hall on 2nd July 2022 at 4 pm. The meeting was attended by Kerala Maritime Board Chairman Sri NS Pillai IA&AS (Retd.), CEO Sri. TP Salim Kumar IRS, Port Officer Capt Aswani Pratap.

Chamber delegation was led by President Sri. Raffi P Devassy, Port Commitee Chairman Sri. TC Ahamed, Secretry Sri. Abdullakutty, Convenor Sri. Munshid Ali.

Officials from Coast Guard, Customs, Lakshwadeep Administration Immigration, Chaliyam Police Station, and Fisheries also attended the function. A reception was accorded by the chamber to the Hon'ble Minister and the KMB officials also were honoured.
